On Friday September 12th, DC is celebrating Go Go Music with a night at the Go Go Museum as part of The Art All Night Anacostia series. The immersive experience highlights the culture of GoGo with a multi course tasting by Chef Angie and a Silent GoGo journey with Band & Show. The events starts at 6:30 pm and runs through the night allowing visitors to explore the Go Go Museum after hours with a live Dj. For more information go to @thegogomuseum.

Good Wood Revival - the British event celebrating classic, cars and vintage fashion popularized by celebs like Dita Von Teese and Dandy Wellington - is kicking off with Behind The Scenes of the Museum: Fashion History on Friday, September 12th. Taking place on The Good Wood Revival Style stage, the program features V&A curator Jessica Harpley and vintage fashion influencer Dandy Wellington. The pair will discuss collecting and displaying fashion at the V&A Museum. Manolo Blahnik has partnered with London’s V&A Museum for the Marie Antoinette Style
exhibition. Featuring more than 250 pieces such as silk slippers, jewelry and the final note she ever wrote. In addition to the Queen’s personal items, Manolo Blahnik’s Marie Antoinette inspired footwear will also be on display including the shoes he created for Sofia Coppola’s 2006 film. Designers such as Moschino, Dior, Chanel, Erdem, Vivienne Westwood and Valentino are also present in the show – along with costumes from Sofia Coppola's Oscar-winning Marie Antoinette starring Kirsten Dunst. While at the V&A London don’t forget to view the Cartier exhibition running through November 16th, 25 the show takes viewers on a journey through Cartier’s evolution since the 20th century. There are more than 350 pieces on display including Jewels, iconic watches, and clocks.

                                            
Join street are lovers for the Mural Arts Fest: Voices of Philly on September 13th from 2pm-7pm. Known as the mural capital of the World, the city boost 4,000 street murals made possible by programs like Mural Arts Philadelphia, the largest public art program in the US. The Flotsum River Circus is making a two day stop in New York on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th for a free performance on The East River. The event takes place on the Southwest side of Randall’s Island and features performers, puppeteers and musicians. The circus is floating to various cities to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal. For more information go to rivercircus.com

Oscar Award wining actress Viola Davis and actress Edwina Findley Dickerson are partnering up with Barnes & Noble to discuss Dickerson new book The World is Waiting For You. The Los Angeles Chromasonic is taking visitors on a sensory exploration with their latest exhibit Chromasonic Field. Designed to altar how people perceive space, the immersive experience features  a color changing environment where the visitor's frequency is matched to sound. By saturating viewers in colors of yellow, deep blue, purple and red, the aim is to help them reach an introspective state. While in LA head to LACMA for Grounded - a multi- media exhibit that explores land as the foundation for history, ecology, memory and home. Through the work of 35 artists the show demonstrates how human experience is embedded in the land. Using the platform to tell the story of forced migration and displacement, artists bring the lasting effects of colonialism and imperialism to the forefront. For more information go to lacma.org.
