Join the ASO and Georgia Public Broadcasting as they honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with encore performances of the 2025 and 2026 King Celebration Concerts, presented in partnership with Ebenezer Baptist Church.
The King Celebration Concerts feature the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Choruses, the Ebenezer Baptist Church Choir, along with special guests including the Honorable Reverend Dr. Raphael G. Warnock - who gave deeply felt tributes throughout the evening, Patrice E. Turner, Tamika Patton, Timothy Miller and more. The concert was a blend of gospel and classical music with renditions of "Sunday Symphony", "Order My Steps," "Open My Heart" and I Will Lift Up mine Eyes."Watch an expanded 90-minute version of the performance on Georgia public Broadcasting on Monday, January 19th at 9pm. The special is a co-production between GBP and ASO.
GPB- FM Radio is airing the encore performance of the King Celebration at 10 pm (8pm on GPB classical)
WABE-FM will be airing the encore of The King Celebration at 8pm. It will also be distributed nationally on American Public Media on the King National Holiday.
