FIFA Museum and Hyundai Motor Present “Legacies of Champions”

The FIFA Museum and Hyundai Motor Company are bringing the special exhibition, “Legacies of Champions,” to Rockefeller Center in New York City. Open to the public with free admission throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026 - from June 11 to July 19, 2026 - the experience invites football fans, families and children from around the world to explore the history and culture of international football.

The FIFA Museum exhibition will be open free of charge with advance reservations available through the official Rockefeller Center website. Marco Fazzone, Managing Director of the FIFA Museum says the museum is looking forward to sharing football culture with fans.

“Legacies of Champions” reflects on nearly a century of football history, exploring how each FIFA World Cup™ has shaped the global game and inspired millions of fans worldwide. Featuring dedicated showcases from every tournament since 1930, the exhibition brings together original objects, iconic moments, legendary teams and unforgettable players that define the competition’s enduring legacy.

Each display features carefully curated original objects celebrating champions, taking audiences on a journey through the evolution of the world’s most popular sport and its cultural impact across generations.

Highlights include the FIFA Museum’s signature exhibit featuring jerseys from all 48 participating teams of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and celebrating the diversity of the global game. The exhibition will also showcase the historic Jules Rimet Trophy, FIFA’s World Cup trophy from 1930 to 1970, with its original blue base, offering visitors a rare sight of one of the sport’s most iconic symbols. On selected days, visitors will also be able to see the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Winner’s Trophy.

Immersive experiences include “The Final”, a cinematic installation capturing the intensity and drama of football’s biggest stage, and “The Wall of Champions”, which honors every player to have lifted the trophy, tracing the lineage of triumph that continues to inspire new generations.

For the FIFA World Cup 2026 ™, Hyundai Motor will spotlight its innovation efforts, including advanced robotics developed with Boston Dynamics. The exhibition will also feature content that brings together robotics and football, reflecting the brand’s “Next Starts Now” approach and its commitment to making future technologies engaging and accessible for fans.

In addition to the indoor museum experiences at 50 Rockefeller Plaza, the FIFA Museum will operate an outdoor fan zone from July 6 through July 19. Located on North Plaza, just outside the FIFA Museum’s main entrance, the activation will invite fans to take part in a FIFA Museum trivia experience for a chance to win prizes.
