The ADAC Sample Sale offers an experience beyond shopping

It’s that time of year and that means the ADAC Spring Sample Sale is here. Happening from Wednesday, March 18 – Friday, March 20, the sale features a wide array of pieces from ADAC showrooms. Katie Miner, general manager of ADAC, says in recent years, ADAC has seen an increase in participation from independent designers who have offices there. The growing involvement from these designers has added another dimension to the Spring Sample Sale and expanded the variety of pieces available to shoppers.

This year’s Spring Sample Sale features 20 participating showrooms and designers. Miner says it reflects the continued enthusiasm from the showroom partners.

“Spring Sample Sale is a standout moment for our design community,” Miner says. “It’s an opportunity for homeowners, industry professionals, and design lovers alike to experience the depth and quality of our showrooms while taking advantage of a unique opportunity to shop. We’re excited to open our doors and welcome new and returning guests to this event.”

Spring Sample Sale has become a staple on the design calendar each year. Experts will be on hand for interior design advice and to help choose furniture that aligns with shoppers’ personal aesthetic. Miner says there isn’t a central interior design guiding the sale, but shoppers can expect to find beautifully designed pieces at deeply discounted prices. The level of savings vary by showroom and product with the focus of the three-day event being on the shopping itself says Miner.

“Because the pieces come directly from a variety of showrooms, shoppers can expect a wide range of styles —from classic and traditional to modern and contemporary—across furniture, lighting, rugs, and accessories creating plenty of opportunities to find exceptional values on high-end designer items,” Miner says.

ADAC has three restaurants on campus including The Hungry Peach and two from celebrity Chef Kevin Rathbun - KR Steakbar and Krog Bar Coal Fired Pizza. Guests are encouraged to make of day of shopping while enjoying the space. ADAC is a three-story building with a modern aesthetic based on biophilic design – a design approach that focuses on using  natural elements in design to promote well-being. ADAC’s signature atrium is filled with natural light and plants to promote well-being, as well as clean lines and white walls to create a sense of calm throughout the building. The experience is based on neuroaesthetics - the science of how our surroundings impact emotional and cognitive health. The environment makes for a pleasant and peaceful shopping experience.

Visitors can also explore participating showrooms throughout ADAC and ADAC West and browse a curated selection of furnishings and accessories available at special pricing. Miner says it’s a unique opportunity for first time shoppers and ADAC loyalists to purchase directly from some of ADAC’s premier designer showrooms.

It’s a rare chance for the public to access luxury furnishings and décor typically available through the trade.”
